Gandhinagar, Jul 20 (UNI) Amid rising tension with the Congress-led Madhya Pradesh government over sharing of Narmada water, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday alleged that his counterpart in the neighbouring state Kamalnath, was issuing ultimatum to stop the supply of water, with 'politically-motivated, ill-intention'.
Addressing a press conference here, a day after the warning of MP government to stop the flow of Narmada water to Gujarat, as it was not getting its proper share of electricity and due to some other issues, Mr Rupani alleged that such a threat was childish, unfortunate, shameful, politically-motivated and ill-intended.
'Congress, which tried tooth and nail to stall the progress of Narmada project, when it was in power at the Centre, is now trying to play dirty politics, with political ill-intention. The party, after defeat in the Lok Sabha polls, is looking desperate.
