MP polls: BJP denies ticket to 5 MLAs in 2nd list

Bhopal, Nov 5 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today denied tickets to five sitting legislators in its second list of 17candidates – including two women – released today.
The party has reposed faith in seven previous candidates including state minister Sharad Jain. Meanwhile, suspicion is continuing on all seats of Indore, Govindpura in Bhopal, Seoni Malwa in Hoshangabad and Shamshabad in Vidisha – all of which have turned into a bone of contention for the ruling party.
The BJP fielded former minister Anup Mishra from Gwalior's Bhitarwar. Mr Mishra is former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's nephew. The party has fielded new faces from Bichhia, Multai, Kurwai, Shujalpur and Badnagar seats. The BJP has reposed faith in old candidates in Bijawar, Anuppur, Jabalpur South, Niwas, Biora, Petlawad and Ujjain South.
