MP Lok Indra Hang Subba condemns rape & murder of a rural girl: Peace Rally by Students demanding justice

Gangtok, Nov 13 ( UNI ) MP Lok Sabha, Indra Hang Subba, has condemned the heinous act of brutality against a young girl in Machong, East Sikkim.
''I would have condemned it even if I were not a Member of Parliament. We have directed the Police for speedy action. The government will do anything we have to do. We will not back out,’ said MP Subba reacting to a question on an act of rape and murder in a rural area in East Sikkim.
In the meantime, MLA Pawan Chamling ( former CM) has described it as an unfortunate incident. ‘It is inhuman and absolutely unacceptable. Whoever has committed this crime is an enemy of humanity and not just of the victim and her family, it is our duty and Dharma to eliminate such scourge from Society,’ commented Chamling.

Bhagalpur, Apr 20 (UNI) Accusing BJP-led NDA of intending to scrap the constitution, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said the INDIA alliance was contesting the Lok sabha election on the plank of protecting the constitution to save the democracy and claimed that the NDA would not get more than 150 seats.
