MP included Dhalai in Atal Jyoti Yojana: Hamlets to be lit up with solar lights

Ambassa (Tripura), Jan 29 (UNI) In a move to light up the remote hamlets with solar lights the initiative of MP Rebati Tripura succeeded to include Dhalai in Atal Jyoti Yojana Solar street light project recently.
The scheme of Atal Jyoti Yojana Solar street light is launched by the government of India to enhance 200 parliamentary segments with solar lighting facilities. The seventy-five per cent of the total cost is to be borne by the Union government and the rest twenty-five per cent by the respective MP from his development fund.
Accordingly, the MP from East Tripura initiated with the central government and included his parliamentary segment into the project. It would include installation of 2,000 solar lights in remote hamlets. The project would bear a cost of 4 crores 57 lakh rupees.
