MP CM stresses on farsighted planning

Bhopal, Dec 9 (UNI) Reiterating his objective of creating a distinct identity for Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Kamal Nath averred on Monday that master plans of all cities will be prepared keeping in view tomorrow’s requirements and to reduce population pressure, it was officially learnt.
While inaugurating a Musical Water Fountain at the state capital’s Jeevan Vatika Park, he said, “Every city boasts its unique culture and history. Endeavours are necessary to suitably apprise the new generation for enabling them to comprehend tradition. We shall give serious thought to quandaries arising out of increasing urbanisation and to discovering solutions. It is vital for commoners to connect themselves vis-a-vis expansion of urban areas and make them systematic.”
Congratulating Mayor Alok Sharma and the Municipal Corporation for the Musical Water Fountain at the pride of Bhopal – the Upper Lake – the Chief Minister said that a scheme is being prepared to present inspiring stories behind major temples and heritage before the masses, especially tourists, through laser shows.
