Bhopal, Dec 5 (UNI) Even as December 11 – counting day – approaches, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday accused the principal-opposition Congress of exerting undue pressure on the Election Commission vis-a-vis electronic voting machines (EVMs).

“The devices cannot be tampered with and it is incorrect to question the fairness of the poll process. Apprehensive of an electoral debacle, the Congress is heaping blame on the EVMs and I consider that unfair. That party is attempting to mock the polls. We must repose faith in the Commission,” Mr Chouhan told the press here.
