MP CM sets month’s deadline for remission

Jhabua, MP, June 24 (UNI) In a major relief for Madhya Pradesh’s cultivators, Chief Minister Kamal Nath assured on Monday that the state’s Congress dispensation would complete the agrarian loan waiver process in a period not exceeding a month.
“The peasant is born into debt and dies under it. However, farmers shall be provided solace now. A fresh plan will be drafted vis-a-vis Jhabua District’s future. The state’s Congress government fulfilled election promises within six months of its tenure thereby revealing its policies and intention. The confidence reposed by the populace in the party’s regime shall be maintained by me,” he averred while addressing a Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah / Nikah Yojana programme in this tribal-dominated district’s headquarters.

The Chief Minister presented no-dues certificates to adivasi tillers, distributed documents to Livelihood Mission beneficiaries, blessed newly-wed couples, gifted them a sapling each and launched the ‘School Chalein Hum’ campaign.
