MP CM’s plea to ryots

Bhopal, June 4 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured cultivators on Thursday that their entire grain yield will be procured and timely payments made.
In an appeal to agriculturalists, the veteran leader averred, “Do not harbour trepidation; it is my dispensation’s responsibility to ensure safety of procured wheat and this is being effectuated efficiently. The entire state is combatting the COVID-19 pandemic and it is for this express reason that acquirement is delayed. I salute all the farmers who feed the nation! Madhya Pradesh has shattered previous records in grain output. Till date, over 1.25 crore metric tonnes wheat has been acquired.”
