MP CM’s green signal to education drive

Bhopal, June 24 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh is now governed by a dispensation that believes in work – not announcements – and is toiling for every section’s welfare since its maiden day in power, Chief Minister Kamal Nath averred on Monday in tribal-dominated Jhabua District where he launched the ‘School Chalein Hum’ campaign and blessed 700 couples at a mass marriage programme.
“The regime is speedily making efforts to fulfil promises. By effectuating agrarian debt waiver up to a ceiling of Rs 2 lakh, we completed the most mammoth scheme in the state’s history despite ‘inheriting’ empty coffers. Dues remission is merely relief; we are exerting ourselves with the objective of heralding prosperity in cultivators’ existences. Employment for the youth is also a priority for me; 100 days’ work is being provided to urban youngsters through the medium of the Yuva Swabhimaan Yojana. We are constantly endeavouring to encourage job-oriented investment and achieved success in numerous spheres. We will provide facilities to only those industries that shall eventually have 70 per cent locals in their workforce,” he was officially quoted as saying.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the second phase of the Jai Kisan Crop Loan Waiver Scheme and distributed certificates to peasants. Debts amounting to Rs 49.87 crore of 6,930 farmers will be waived in this stage within the district while the corresponding figures were Rs 212.50 cr and 46,419 tillers in the preceding period.
