MP CM reviews Rewa flood situation

Bhopal, Aug 19 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while reviewing Rewa Division's flood situation, said here today that the Army’s assistance may be solicited to rescue marooned people.
“Arrangements should be made for helicopters vis-à-vis extrication, control rooms must operate round the clock, rescue teams should work ceaselessly and motorboats provided to them,” he averred, according to an official release.
The meeting was informed that 3,200 persons were evacuated in the past week and Approximately 50 villages were inundated by nature’s fury.
