MP CM orders plan for protecting cattle

Bhopal, Aug 14 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has issued directives with regard to drafting a comprehensive action plan for conserving bovines.
“A decision has already been taken to set up 1,000 gaushalas in accordance with the Assembly election manifesto. During the monsoon, farmland gets waterlogged and soil becomes wet therefore numerous heads of cattle sit on roads and consequently fall victim to accidents. Though the plan may not witness implementation this season, a similar strategy may be adopted down to village panchayat level,” Media Coordinator Narendra Saluja said on Wednesday.
