MP CM mourns players’ death

Bhopal, Oct 14 (UNI) Expressing grief over the demise of four national-level hockey players in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Hoshangabad District on Monday, Chief Minister Kamal Nath averred that the tragedy caused irreparable damage to the sports sphere.
“I am profoundly hurt by the passing away of budding talents Shahnawaz Khan, Adarsh ​​Hardua, Ashish Lal and Aniket who were the state’s pride. In fact, the entire nation nurtured rather high hopes from them. The hockey world shall always miss the foursome. I pray to the Almighty for granting peace to the departed souls and fortitude to the bereaved families for bearing this sorrow. I wish the injured a rapid recovery and have issued directives to provide best treatment,” he was officially quoted as saying.
