MP CM Mohan Yadav visits Nagpur hospitals, meets toxic cough syrup victims' families

Nagpur, Oct 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav today arrived in Nagpur to inquire about the health of children undergoing treatment after consuming contaminated Coldrif cough syrup.
The syrup, manufactured by Tamil Nadu-based Sresan Pharmaceuticals, has been linked to the deaths of 22 children, primarily from Madhya Pradesh and Chhindwara districts. The reported cause of death is multi-organ failure.
CM Yadav visited AIIMS, New Health City Hospital, and Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) to meet the families of the affected children. He assured them of the Madhya Pradesh government's full support and directed officials to closely monitor the children's treatment.
