MP CM asks cops to use hi-tech

Bhopal, Feb 26 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Wednesday urged the Police and Health Department to provide improved services to commoners through utilising new technology.
“Every sphere has witnessed change – including in style of functioning. Public aspirations have also increased. Law enforcement and the Health Department are directly connected to the masses. Therefore, it is necessary that the behaviour and functioning of officials be improved so that the people obtain relief and repose greater faith in the system. Those in khaki should make better use of technology in investigation,” he was officially quoted as saying in the state capital’s Govindpura while dedicating 1,813 quarters for police personnel.
“Now the time is ripe for artificial intelligence. We must have the ability to adopt these modifications. Departments related to the public need to introspect vis-a-vis their work process,” Mr Nath underlined.
