Motorcyclist killed in road mishap in Nanded

Nanded, Jan 25 (UNI) A 21-year-old youth was reportedly killed on Saturday while another sustained serious injuries when the motorcycle, on which they were riding, was dashed by a truck in Mukhed tehsil of this district.
The victim have been identified as Sachin Sudhakar Chaware, report said.
The accident occurred when Sachin and one Chandrakant Tachawre astride a motorcycle were riding towards their Katkalamba village.
Upon nearing the Mukhed town, a sugarcane-laden truck dashed the two-wheeler from behind.
The collision killed Sachin on the spot while Chandrakant was seriously injured.
The injured have been admitted at the Sub-District Hospital in Mukhed and the truck driver sped away from the crime scene, added report.

Anti-CAA protests aimed at blackmailing govt: Sambit Patra

Panaji, Feb 26 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Spokesperson Sabmit Patra on Wednesday said that the ongoing anti-CAA protests in the national capital were aimed at black mailing the government by the opposition around US President Donald Turmp's visit to India.
Speaking at an interaction programme in the city, he said, “They want to blackmail the government. They want the government should bend down. I am not saying anything provocative. The government has said repeatedly, that it (CAA) is an act to give rights, not take rights. All the controversial issues which no one wanted to touch with tongs earlier, we have in one year, taken such big decisions in controversial matters.”
“You think the Opposition will sit silent? They will use everything in their power to destabilise this government, this country,” the BJP leader said.
