Mother, daughter die on Manimahesh Yatra hit by shooting stones

Shimla, Aug 17 (UNI) Mother and daughter, who were on the holy Manimahesh Yatra in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, died after being hit by shooting stones from a hill. Two devotees also injured in this mishasp. State government spokesperson confirmed that shooting stones started falling from the hill near Dunali on Hadsar-Dunali road. In the grip of this, mother-daughter and two other people going on Manimahesh Yatra on foot came.
The injured were rushed to the civil hospital after the accident. Where the doctors declared the mother-daughter dead. Block Medical Officer Dr. Ankit said that the a girl and a women died in the accident, while the two injured are under treatment in the hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Anvita (10) daughter Goga Ram and Sonu Devi (32) wife Goga Ram resident of village and post office Lupayana district Kangra. While Sahil Sharma (22) son Subhash Chand village Saloli Mod Una, Ganesh (27) son Tilak Raj resident ward number-5 Sujanpur Pathankot is injured. This time so far three devotees have died during Manimahesh Yatra.
