Lucknow, Apr 11 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board on Saturday appealed to mosques and madrassas not to provide shelter to any member of the Tablighi Jamaat, failing which the Board will recommend action to be taken under the National Security Act against those who hide information in this respect.
Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi said, "All the 'mutvallis' have been informed that if any individual related to the Tablighi Jamaat is seen in any Mosque or madrassa, and if they try to seek shelter, police or the Shia Waqf Board should be informed on the helpline without any delay.
He said that special attention needs to be paid on the Mosques and madrassas in the areas adjoining Nepal border.
