Mortal remains of Kodiyeri Balakrishnan brought to Kannur

Kannur, Oct 2 (UNI) CPI (M) leaders including Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday received the mortal remains of CPI (M) Politburo member and Ex Home and Tourism minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan at the Kannur International Airport around 1300 hrs.
The mortal remains were brought in an air ambulance from Chennai Apollo Hospital where he died on Saturday night.
From Kannur Airport to Thalassery Municipal town hall, the body was carried in a special open ambulance around 1320 hrs.
