More than fifty fall sick due to fish poisoning; Andaman sounds alarm

Port Blair, Mar 16 (UNI) Several incidents of food poisoning have been reported from various places like Havelock Island and Tirur village in South Andaman District, since last fortnight.
Nearly 50 employees of three resorts of Havelock Island fell ill on February 2 last, after consumption of a particular fish namely Twin Spotted Snapper locally known as Kutha Bhetki.
On March 13, again, eight people belonging to two families of Tirur village fell ill after consuming the same fish.

Tricolor symbol of unity and integrity: Parmar

Dharamsala, Oct 7 (UNI) The national flag is a symbol of the unity, integrity and sovereignty of India and all citizens should respect the national flag. Speaker Vipin Parmar expressed this while addressing the people on the concluding occasion of the Tricolor Mahayatra at the Kachari in Dharamsala on Friday.
He said that the 1025 meter long national flag was also handed over to the district administration on the occasion. He said that in the episode of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, from August 13 to August 15, the 'Har Ghar Tricolor' campaign was also launched across the country in which all the countrymen enthusiastically participated.
Vipin Parmar said that along with India, the pride of the national flag tricolor has also increased in the whole world.
