More specialised support staff for 2017 women's W Cup: Mithali Raj

New Delhi, Jun 5 (UNI) Indian women's team skipper Mithali Raj has stressed the need for more specialised coaching staff in the team in order to get ready for next year's women's World Cup in England scheduled to be held from June 26 to July 23.
"With pretty much a year (for the World Cup) to go, we should start our preparation as soon as possible. I personally think we need to have a more enhanced support staff," the skipper said yesterday.
The 33-year-old also added that it would be ideal to have preparatory camps ahead of India's forthcoming series against West Indies and Pakistan, which would help the team in regrouping.
