New Delhi, Jul 13 (UNI) The country's science and space theatre is set for a quantum leap when ISRO will launch the prestigious lunar mission, Chandrayaan-2, on Monday, July 15.
"The Earth and the Moon have a lot more in common than most of us realise. And studying these commonalities will help us understand our own planet better. We hope to do this with Chandrayaan2," ISRO said in a tweet on Saturday.
Former ISRO Chairman Dr K Radhakrishnan said in Chennai that the Chandrayaan-2, with an Indian Lander-Rover combine, is India’s first step in Robotic Space Exploration, and the entire Nation was looking towards it.
