Monsoon lashes few parts of Himachal

Shimla, Sep 20 (UNI) Ending long dry spell in the state, South West Monsoon system became active again in the state as many parts of state were lashed by the rainfall in last 24 hrs.
Kangra recorded 52 mm rainfall, Dharamshala 35.4 mm, Palampur 28 mm, Gaggal 23 mm, Baijnath 13 mm Manali in Kullu district 17 mm, Bhairwin in Chamba eight mm, Amb in Suna and Shimla seven mm each Chail in Solan six mm, Kasouli and Solan five mm each, Kufri in Shimla and Mandi four mm each, Bhuntar and Bakloh in Kullu three mm and Tissa of Chamba two mm.
Maximum temperature of Una was 32.6 degrees Celsius today, Shimla 22.4 degrees Sundernagar
in Mandi 29.3 degrees, Bhuntar 31 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnuar 21.8 degrees, Dharamshala
