Bhopal, May 23 (UNI) As the world confronts a double whammy in the health sphere, the Madhya Pradesh government is on the alert regarding monkeypox though no case has been detected thus far in the state.
“Regarding the novel coronavirus front, 32 fresh cases came to light over the past 24 hours on analysis of 5,924 samples even as 22 individuals recuperated during the period under review. No police personnel are among the latest sufferers though one from Jabalpur is present among the 275 active cases. The positivity is 0.53 per cent and the recovery percentage 98.7. With 533 more vaccines being administered, the inoculation figure touched 11,85,21,797,” Home Minister and government spokesman Narottam Mishra told media representatives here.
