Mongolia woman gives birth to twins on airplane

Ulan Bator, Jul 10 (UNI) A 42-year-old Mongolian woman gave birth to twins on a chartered flight from Ulan Bator, the capital of Istanbul, Mongolia, early Friday.
"The twins were born two months early and their mothers are now isolated and under medical care," Dulama Nyamkhu, head of Mongolia's National Center for Communicable Diseases, told a press conference on Friday. news agency Xinhua reported.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Mongolia has been bringing back its citizens from abroad in stages via chartered flights, buses and trains.
The woman is one of over 260 Mongolian nationals who returned from Turkey on a chartered flight early Friday, according to the center.

B’desh: 'Deaths in crossfire' in name of anti-drug campaign galore

Dhaka, Aug 9 (UNI) Many people allegedly died in crossfire in the name of anti-drug campaign, though the government of Bangladesh has always claimed that its law enforcers do not work outside the law.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), an elite force, is one of the law enforcing agencies in the country.
A 35-year-old man named Suleiman (pseudonym) lived in a slum in Dhaka with his eight-year-old daughter. According to his family, he struggled to collect his daily meal.
Suleiman's family told Amnesty International, a UK-based human rights group, that he had called a family member before he was killed in a so-called gunfight, that police had demanded a bribe of BDT 20,000 in exchange for his release.
