Mohun Bagan registered first season's I-League win, drubbed TRAU FC 4-0 at home

Kolkata, Dec 11 (UNI) Struggling Mohun Bagan registered season's first win in the
I-League drubbing new outfit TRAU FC 4-0 with a brace from Fran González as the
home side put two goals in each half to take full point at Kalyani stadium here today.
Fran González right footed shot hit the target inside five minutes capitalizing a
measured centre at the box from Daneil Cyrus.
The home side double their lead in the 38the minute when Suhair Vadakkepeedika
followed Fran in similar fashion. But this time it was Ashutosh Mehta put the ball in
front of opportunist Suhair.
Immediately after the second half began Fran González double his individual score
and third for the Mariners when his right footed shot from the centre of the box put
ball to the top left corner. Fran then rushed to Joseba Beitia to greet him for the ball.
The final and the 4th goal of the day came in the dying hours when Subha Ghosh
shot home to give Mohun Bagan full three points for the first time this season.
Bagan have now 4 points from three matches, one point behind East Bengal, who
are now on 3rd place after Churchill Brothers 6 and Gokulum Kerala 6 points each
from two matches each.
Mohun Bagan had a disappointing 2-4 loss against Churchill Brothers in previous
round of I-League.
