Modi will visit B'desh next month for Bangabandhu centenary: FM

Dhaka, Feb 19 (UNI) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bangladesh next month to attend the birth centenary celebrations of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Foreign Minister Abdul Momen announced on Wednesday.
Conversing with reporters after attending a function in the capital, Mr Momen also said there will be a bilateral meeting between Mr Modi and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The foreign ministry has been
working on it, though the exact dates are yet to be finalised, he added.
Indian foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla will visit Bangladesh in the first week of March
to iron out the nitty-gritty, Momen said.
