Modi to celebrate his birthday listening to Clean India qawwali, poem by Sulabh chief

New Delhi, Sep 16 (UNI) Underscoring his commitment to Clean India Mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his birthday by attending a function organised to felicitate him on this day by the cleanliness legend Sulabh International.
Mr Modi turns 65 on September 17, tomorrow.
In an unabashed appeal to what is closest to Mr Modi's heart, the organisers also intend to enthrall the Clean India champion with a qawwali "Modi ka Sapna Bana Liya Apna" (Modi's Dream Has Become My Own).
The lilting lyric for the qawwali has been composed by none other than the Sulabh founder Bindeshwar Pathak himself.
The idea of Sulabh (literally meaning 'easy to find'), whose campaign against open air defecation by building affordable as well as free toilets at the grassroot level has met with a phenomenal success, has apparently gelled well with squeaky clean outlook of Mr Modi as to how to celebrate the most important day of his life.
Not stopping just at qawwali, Dr Pathak has composed another song "Mahima Ganga Kashi Ki," knowing well what Mr Modi's heart beats for, Ganga Ma and Kashi(Varanasi).
"Today, India is proud of having an inspiring leader at the fore, who is committed to improve the lot of common man. His Swachch Bharat(Clean India) campaign is changing the very destiny of the people. He has touched our hearts," said Dr Pathak.
The function would be inaugurated by the Minister for Culture and Tourism Mahesh Sharma at FICCI Auditorium.
The BJP is also organising a function to highlight the achievements of Modi government at the Town Hall, Chandini Chowk. Health Minister Harsh Vardhan will preside over the function.
