New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tributes to nation's first PM Jawaharlal Nehru on his death anniversary.
"Tributes to our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his death anniversary," Mr Modi tweeted in the morning hours.
Born on November 14, 1889, Nehru breathed his last on May 27, 1964.
Mr Modi has quite often courted controversies and sharp reactions from Congress party for his attack on Nehru.
