Modi lost cool after demonetisation move misfired: Gehlot

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's move of demonetisation of currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denomination has misfired and a desperate PM, in his bid to pacify the angry people, has lost his cool.
Talking to UNI over telephone, Mr Gehlot said ''What the Prime Minister did is an utterly unplanned step, taken without adequate administrative and operational preparation that could have never been delivered the 'aspired results,' but could have culminated only in chaos and miseries to people that is witnessed everywhere in form of long queues of the worried masses’.
The Congress leader said ''Nobody would disagree to Mr Modi's bid against corruption and black money..,.. Congress had always favoured and supported this cause..,..but what did this government do..,..they prepared less and devoted more in making announcement and stealing the headlines..,.. every government takes steps and initiatives to curb these evils..,..so did the previous governments..,..but they did the work without big announcements and much hue and cry.
