New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) Joining issue with senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge for his "Brahma (creator)" jibe on the Prime Minister, the BJP on Tuesday asserted that Mr Modi is certainly a 'creator' -- he is truly maker of a "new India".
"Our popular Prime Minister Modiji is certainly a creator of a new India," Union Law & IT Minister
Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters at the BJP headquarter here.
"Woh nayi uday maan Bharat ke Brahma haen (Modi is truly a creator of a new and rising India)," Mr Prasad said.
He said Prime Minister Modi is in the process of making a 'new India' - that would be corruption
free and an India -- whose standing has risen globally.
Earlier at the AICC briefing, Mr Kharge, floor leader of the Congress party lambasted government for
not summoning the winter session of Parliament.
"He (Modi) is the Brahma, he is the creator; only he knows when the session will be called," Mr Kharge said.
Mr Kharge and Ghulam Nabi Azad among other Congress leaders had met Parliamentary Affairs
Minister Ananth Kumar, he said, adding but the Minister could not confirm the dates.
