New Delhi, Apr 23 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held a meeting with chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of all BJP-ruled states to discuss with them the strategy to highlight the governance agenda of his government, and to blunt Opposition parties’ attack. The meeting was also attended by party chief Amit Shah and top Union Ministers, and other senior party leaders. It is understood that the Prime Minister impressed up on the chief ministers the need to take to the people the positive changes like transparency and accountability brought in by his government. 'With recent electoral wins, especially the land slide victory in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in which the Opposition had been pathetically debilitated, the BJP has gained confidence that the agenda of good governance of Mr Modi was being recognised by the common man, and the chief ministers would be asked to spare no efforts to keep up the tempo,' a senior party leader said.
