Modi Govt's expiry date over : Mamata

Kolkata, Jan 19 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Saturday said the people have already made their minds, acche din (good days) not going to come back for BJP.
Addressing a mega rally at Brigade Parade ground here, Ms Banerjee claimed that the Narendra Modi government’s expiry date was over “just like your pills”
“23-24 parties have taken part in this rally. The Modi government's expiry date is over, " the TMC supremo said.
She said, " Modi is unable to take everyone along. One who can’t take everyone along, can’t be a leader. This is the beginning of BJP’s end. "
Ms Banerjee warned the BJP against any riots in the name of Rath Yatra across the state.
“We believe in lord Jagannath’s rath yatra. What is your rath? We will not allow you to engineer riots in Bengal. We won’t allow riots in the name of rath yatra,” she said.
The TMC supremo said, “They humiliated CBI, ED, RBI. They undermined banks. Remember, if you vote BJP to power this time, you won’t get any of your money back.”
Ms Banerjee said, " This govt is trying to change everything- the law, the Constitution, and now this government has to change too.”
She said, “My appeal to you all is that please do not worry on who will be the next prime minister. We will figure that out later. But the job to be done right now that is that to defeat the BJP and Narendra Modi.”
“Remember one thing, that even after all these warnings today, if you go ahead and vote the BJP to power, then I guarantee you that they will leave you penniless. They will take away all your hard earned money," Ms Banerjee said.
“Farmers don’t have money. There are no jobs, what’s the point of reservation? We will work together to bring a new dawn for the country,” the chief minister said.
Haven’t seen anyone run a country in a such a fascist manner,” said Ms Banerjee, while ending her speech with “BJP hatao, desh bachao and Jai Hindh, Vande mataram” chant.
