Modern techniques to improve storage of food grains: Kamboj

Chandigarh, Feb 8 (UNI) Haryana Food and Supplies Minister Karan Dev Kamboj today said modern techniques and practices would be adopted to improve storage of food grains and make the Public Distribution System (PDS) more efficient.
Mr Kamboj said he would lead a delegation to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from February 16 to 20 to study their storage techniques and public distribution system.
The delegation would comprise of MLA Gharaunda, Harvinder Singh Kalyan, MLA Nilokheri, Bhagwan Das Kabirpanthi, MLA Thanesar, Subhash Sudha, Additional Chief Secretary, Food and Supplies Department, SS Prasad, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister, Vijay Sharma and Saurabh Sharma, officers of the Department and technical staff.
