Kozhikode, Dec 7 (UNI) 'Moonu Mani,' directed by Venu Chelakkad and telecasted by a private satellite channel 'Flowers' has won the best serial and director awards respectively instituted by Modern Film City Magazine. Announcing the TV awards, Jury Chairman and actor Illikkett Namboodiri and Chief Editor P V Naveendran said Dinesh Pallath has been chosen for best scriptwriter award for 'Pranayam' (Asianet). Santosh Sasidharan (Moonu Mani), Archana Suseelaan (Karuthamuthu-Asianet) have been selected for best actor and actress award resepctively, they said. Thirumala Ramachandran (Karyam Nissaram-Kairali), Suresh (Chandanamazha-Asianet), Dini Daniel (Chechiyamma-Surya), Sreedevi Anil (Manjurukumkalam-Mazhavil Manorama), were best supporting actors and actresses respectively, they said. It would be presented at Award Nite Function to be held here on January 9, they said adding an array of cultural events would also be held as part of the programme. UNI PCH CS 1337
