Moderate response to 'Bharat Bandh' call in Bihar over price rise of petrol and diesel

Patna, Sep 10 (UNI) "Bharat Bandh" call made by Congress and other opposition parties to protest steep hike in prices of petrol and diesel, evoked moderate response in Bihar with thousands of workers of various parties coming on streets choking the road traffic flow and train services at a number of railway stations across the state while most of educational institutions and busy market complex also remained closed today.
The bandh call given by Congress and supported by about 20 parties across the country to register their strong protests over unprecedented hike in petrol and diesel prices evoked moderate response in Bihar as train services were affected at several stations in some districts of the state while flow of road traffic also remained choked causing difficulties to common man particularly those who had
to go to offices and other duty places.

UP: Couple found dead in Sultanpur
