Model police station in every Assam district

Guwahati, Jun 14 (UNI) At least one model police station in every district of Assam is being mooted to make the police force more people-friendly and encourage the citizens to have hassle-free interaction with the security personnel.
Police sources said here today the initial process for setting up model police stations in all districts of the state has been initiated.
It would take three to five years for the entire process to be completed.
