Model Code of Conduct control room set up for Jubilee Hills by-election

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (UNI) District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan on Thursday inaugurated the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) Control Room at the GHMC headquarters in view of the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election scheduled to be held on November 11.
Speaking on the occasion, Karnan directed the control room officials and staff to maintain round-the-clock alertness till the completion of the by-election process. He stressed that the control room must play a crucial role in ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections.
He instructed the team to respond swiftly to any reports of MCC violations and immediately alert field election teams, expenditure monitoring teams, flying squads (FST), static surveillance teams (SST), video surveillance teams (VST), and MCC enforcement units upon receiving complaints.
