New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) In the wake of challenges being faced by the masses due to demonetisation of higher denominations, leading digital wallet MobiKwik today waived off all charges for instant money transfer to any bank account. The decision has been taken to encourage more and more retailers, shopkeepers and users to use mobile wallet to overcome the challenges of cash crunch. Speaking on the announcement, Bipin Preet Singh, Co-founder, MobiKwik said, "We support the government's bold currency reform. It is a long term move to eliminate black money and corruption from the country. 'However, masses are facing problems with the availability of cash. We have announced zero per cent fee on money transfers in order to overcome the challenge of cash crisis.” Earlier, the company used to charge four per cent from non-KYC users for money transfer, while one per cent from KYC users. The company has registered 18 times growth in transactions since the announcement of demonetisation, the company said in a statement. UNI ASH RJ 2027
