MNS chief appears before ED in connection of ongoing IL&FS probe, quizzed for 8 hours

Mumbai, Aug 22 (UNI) The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray was on Thursday questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection of the IL&FS alleged money laundering case.
Thackeray -- accompanied by his wife Sharmila, son Amit and daughter Urvashi along with MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar -- reached the ED office this morning at around 1130 hours and was grilled by the officials for nearly eight hours, sources said.
According to sources, Thackeray was asked several questions related to the Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited (IL&FS) probe.
