MLA YT Lepcha Advisor assures full support to develop Tourism

Gangtok, Oct 17 (UNI) Sikkim United Tourism Organization ( SUTO) organised the Valedictory programme of Training on Standard Operating Procedure for Tour & Travel Operators, Association of Luxury Car Drivers cum Owners.
Training sponsored by Department of Tourism ,was conducted on 15th and 16th October’20.Advisor Tourism ,MLA YT Lepcha ,the Chief Guest , addressing the gathering in a local 4 Star Hotel,lauded the stakeholders of Tourism.He said they were serving Sikkim through Tourism and were Arms and Feet of Govt.They were urged to work in coordination with the State Govt .The Govt will support automatically. ‘You all have been generating employment for Youth of Sikkim.Now,due to COVID19,its time for you all to behave in keeping with SOPs designed for the purpose and have desired attitude towards the Guests.The Guests and Hosts both should remain disciplined,’ said Advisor YT Lepcha MLA .
Advisor Lepcha ,assured doing all possible for Sikkim Tourism,its growth,development and Promotion.He gave away Certificates to Trainees ,joined by Chairman STDC L.Rasailey

Shillong, Oct 22 (UNI) Meghalaya registered one more COVID-19 related death taking the number fatalities due to the disease to 78 and 99 fresh cases on Thursday, taking active cases to 1,661, while 307 more patients also recovered from the viral infection bringing the number of recovered cases in the State to 6,981.
