MLA, 3 Gram Panchayat Pardhans booked for disrupting traffic

Shimla, Jul 9 (UNI) Member of Assembly Vikramaditya Singh, Pardhan of Gram Panchayat Chaily, Ghanhati and Sanghti Ms Meera, Prabha Devi and Devinder Kumar were booked along with 40 others for disrupting vehicular traffic on Shimla-Dharmshala national highway.
Superintendent of Police Shimla Om Pati Jamwal confirmed that Mr Singh, three Pardhan, BDC member Mukal Gupta and about forty others have been booked for unlawful assembly and wrongful restrained of person.
The action has been done on the complaint of Head Constable Sanjay Kumar that above people set on ''dharana'' on Tutu Choke and "raised slogans against State Government and Shimla Municipal Corporation".
