Mizoram Guv highlights Northeast investment potential, urges industry participation

Aizawl, Nov 13 (UNI) Northeast India’s vast resources and strategic location make it a prime destination for investment, Mizoram Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati emphasised at the Northeast Trade and Investment Roadshow, organised by the Ministry of Development of Northeastern Region (DONER) and FICCI at Park Hyatt in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Dr Kambhampati invited investors, particularly from the drone, IT, and skill development sectors, to collaborate with Mizoram’s government to harness the state’s potential. He highlighted drones as a transformative tool for agriculture and other sectors, urging drone pilot training and service providers to expand their reach.
Addressing industrialists, he pointed to the Northeast’s rich bamboo reserves and encouraged investment in bamboo-based ethanol production, while also stressing the need for advanced technologies to unlock the region's full potential.
