Mizoram cop under scanner

Aizawl, Dec 3 (UNI) Mizoram’s Superintendent of Police CID (Narcotics) is under scanner for alleged detention of a Nigerian national and allegations levelled against him by the Nigerian’s sister who gave a police control room call (PCR) to Delhi Police.

Delhi Police launched a massive search for a Nigerian national, three days after receiving a PCR call from his sister alleging he was picked up by the Mizoram Police last week from Dabri and that they took Rs 35 lakh for his release. She further claimed that the officer was allegedly demanding Rs 20 lakh more.
