Mizoram BJP refutes Christian persecution in Rajasthan

Aizawl, Feb 12 (UNI) Mizoram BJP has refuted allegations that a Christian pastor was tortured by BJP workers in Rajasthan, after a video clip went viral on social media.
“We immediately inquired about the video clip with Rajasthan unit BJP leaders and the state government, who informed us that such incident did not take place in Rajasthan,” state BJP spokesperson Johny Lalthanpuia said in a statement, and dismissed it as “lies spread by Congress.”
The Rajasthan BJP leaders went to say that they were not like Congress who use violence, he said.
