Missing financier's body found in septic tank

Kakinada, Jan 26 (UNI) The body of a 50-year-old financier, who was reportedly missing since Tuesday, was found in the septic tank of a residential premises at Tirumalayapalem village of Gokavaram mandal in Rajahmundry urban police district limits on Friday.

According to the family members of Pothamsetti Venkateswerlu, who hailed from Gudivada village in Peddapuram mandal, the financier had spoken to his family members over phone from Gokavaram, informing them that he was there in connection with the collection of money, financed by him to Shaik Vali, a petty trader of Tirumalayapalem village.
After he didn't reach home, the family members lodged a complaint to Peddapuram police Wednesday.

Hunt is on for accused Shaik Vali, who is at large, police said.
