Mishap claims 5, hurts 12

Shivpuri, MP, Dec 21 (UNI) Five peasants have died and 12 sustained injuries when the lorry, in which they were conveying their ajwain harvest for sale in Neemuch, overturned in Chakrana village.
“The incident occurred shortly after they started. The deceased were identified as village Sarpanch Kalyan, Sateesh Prajapati, Arun and Preetam Prajapati – who perished on the spot – besides Kailash Adivasi who succumbed in hospital. Those hurt were admitted at the District Hospital. The driver and his assistant escaped unhurt,” Superintendent of Police Rajesh Hingankar said on Friday while furnishing details of late Thursday’s mishap.
