Minor girl mauled by pack of dogs in UP

Deoria (UP), April 13 (UNI) A four-year-old unidentified girl was mauled by a pack of dogs in Sadar Kotwali area of Deoria district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Saturday.
Circle Officer (City) Sanjay Kumar Reddy said that the body of the girl was found near roadside at Amethi trisection on Saturday morning. "It is being said that the girl was mauled by a pack of stray dogs," he said.
He said that whether the girl was attacked by the dogs on Saturday night or Friday morning will become clear only after postmortem examination. "Efforts are being made to ascertain the identity of the girl," he said.
