Minor girl dies due to hammock accident in Kupwara

Srinagar, Sep 21 (UNI) A minor girl died due to strangulation when she was taking a ride on hanging hammock in the frontier district of Kupwara on Monday, official sources said.
The incident occurred when the eight-year-old girl, identified as Anjuham Ismail, was taking a ride on a hanging hammock at the courtyard of her home at Nowbugh, Vilgam in the frontier district of Kupwara this afternoon.
However, other family members present in the house immediately rushed her hospital at Handwara where she was declared brought dead.
