Ministers to act as observers in districts to ensure Paddy Procurement in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15 (UNI) Ministers will act as observers in one or two districts in Odisha during the procurement of paddy for the current Kharif season, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced on Tuesday.
While reviewing the paddy procurement process for the current season, Majhi stated that the ministers would serve as the government’s primary point of contact. They will visit districts and mandis (markets) to interact with farmers and oversee the process.
The Chief Minister directed district collectors to ensure there are no irregularities or corruption in the paddy procurement.
