Minister praised BSF for dedicated service: IG emphasised more cordial relationship to curb border-crime

Ambassa (Tripura), Sep 11 (UNI) Tripura Minister Manoj Kanti Deb has highly praised the dedicated service of Border Security Force (BSF) to the people and country while the Inspector General (IG) of BSF for Tripura Frontier has emphasised on more cordial relationship between the jawans and civilians.
Minister Mr Deb and BSF IG this said while delivering speeches in a weapon display and civic action programme in the town hall in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here last afternoon.
In the programme, BSF IG Hemant Kumar Lohia has asserted that, the civic action programme is a part of the endeavour of BSF to set up more cordial relationship with civilians. And the weapon display is a measure to show a glimpse of the strength of BSF as well to attract the young generation to be a part of the great force.
